Each jacket is made right here in England from the finest 100% cotton and can either be made to a standard pattern from your chest size, or entirely bespoke.

Our Field Coats are all made right here in England using only traditional and specialised skills.

Each garment is individually hand cut, made from the very best natural fibres woven in the British Isles. Many of the styles are Teflon coated and incorporate a waterproof and breathable membrane interlining for additional warmth and protection.

It was an incredibly busy 2012 with record month after record month so fingers crossed 2013 will bring more of the same. We thought that with this in mind we should give you a little insight into what is coming up with Barrington Ayre in 2013 and a few of the things that we will be hosting and introducing.

1. Our Charity this year is the Willow Foundation http://www.willowfoundation.org.uk/Home – The Willow Foundation aims to provide beneficiaries and their loved ones with a break from the realities of their diagnosis and treatment.  At a time of uncertainty, spending quality time with family and friends can help restore a sense of normality, boost confidence and create precious memories for the future. We have made some very special Willow Foundation trousers in the purple of their logo and for every pair of trousers that are bought we will be donating £10 of the sale directly to the Charity.  To purchase your trousers and donate £10 to Willow Foundation please simply click here

2. Field Coats – In 2013 we will be able to offer made to order Field Coats in your size and in your choice of fabric and lining. Over the last few years more & more customers have been asking to have a Field Coat made to go with their shooting suit and so we are now delighted to say that we can do this! and of course, they are all made right here in England. Each Field Coat will be able to be made in any of our tweed selections or in your own Estate tweed or even tartan. 3. Clay Shooting Day – We will be hosting a Clay Pigeon Charity Shooting day this year at the Ian Coley Shooting School near Cheltenham where you will be invited to bring a team to compete against other teams and have a great day out whilst raising money and hopefully improving your shooting! 4. Michael Vaughan Charity Golf Day – After the success of last years event, we will be hosting the Charity Golf Day again this year. Again there will be plenty of amazing prizes to win as well as lots of sporting celebs coming along to swing their clubs and compete for the Michael Vaughan / Barrington Ayre Charity Golf Trophy which as won last year by the Lister Communications team. 5. New Brochure - We will be putting out a new brochure this year with some more details about what we do, how you can book an appointment and some ideas about the clothing that we can make. 6. House Tweed – With the continued growth of our country clothing and tweed we have decided this year to design and have made up our own ‘House Tweed’. This will be specially designed by us and will only be available to buy from us. This is the perfect way to have a truly individual piece of tweed made for you and you will be able to be identified as a Barrington Ayre customer wherever you are. A number of our sporting celebs including Michael Vaughan, Robbie Savage and Dan Walker have already placed orders for this house tweed so you will certainly be in fine company when wearing our tweed.

7. A secret new project! - 2013 will also see the introduction of a truly amazing new division of the company and as soon as we are allowed to announce this new project and product we will let you know! Keep your eyes open as you really won’t want to miss this!

The 'Golfettes' with Michael Vaughan & Dan Walker

Last Wednesday, we hosted with Michael Vaughan, a number of golf teams at Cirencester Golf Club to help raise money for the Pied Piper Appeal and the Sheffield Childrens Trust.

With sponsors such as Black Moth Vodka and Bollinger, the golfers were well lubricated on their round and with some amazing auction prizes, especially from Steppes Travel we raised lots of money for Charity.

The winners on the day were the Lister Communications team and they took home some beautiful clubs kindly donated by TaylorMade Golf as well as the Barrington Ayre / Michael Vaughan Charity Golf Day Trophy

We will be doing it all again next year so please keep an eye out for when you can enter your team
